Colorado Family Experiences The Dangers Of Mold Exposure

Chris Fabry, his wife and nine children lived in a palatial home in Colorado. Fabry had a good job and was pursuing a career in writing. His children were successful in school and were active members of their church.

In 2007, the Fabrys noticed fungal growth in one of their bathrooms. When they cut into the drywall, they allowed spores to be released into the air. This commenced a series of health issues that ranged from asthmatic symptoms and skin rashes to diabetes.
Even worse, Mr. Fabry remembers that his then 11 year old son Reagan began experienceing constant nausea, vertigo and vomiting. Reagan’s doctors could not explain his symptoms.

Mr. Fabry would have to carry his son to the bathroom so he could throw up yet his doctors would say that no one can have vertigo all the time.

Ms. Fabry remembers that one of their other sons, Colin, would be doubled over with abdominal pain. He would also experience migraine headaches so severe he would be reduced to tears and screaming. Soon all the Fabrys’ children were gravely ill.

To make matters worse, some doctors suggested that it was the Fabrys’ poor parenting that was causing the mold related symptoms.

In later 2008, the Fabrys had the property tested for elevated levels of mold. The test results confirmed extreme levels of mold spores in several areas of the home. The Fabrys had to leave their home, discard their belongings and even put to sleep their two dogs in order to avoid further contamination.

It is stories like these that should awaken people to the dangers of indoor mold exposure. If you believe that you or someone you know has been exposed to mold call the Law Office of Harold D. Thompson for a free case evaluation or visit our website at www.ThompsonLawSD.com
